| Bio: | I'm a twentysomething, single woman living in Texas. I have always had an addiction to reading and writing.
February 2006 marked the beginning of an obsession that takes up much of my free time. I found a fanfiction site by chance, looking for something completely different. After that I was hooked. Initially all I read was slash, but I happened to stumble upon a nick/Warrick fic and the rest is history. March 2006 was teh official beginning for me, I wrote my first slash fic then, a Nick/Warrick story entitle Unrequited love. I've been writing Non-stop since.
At this point in time Warrick/Gil is my OTP, with Warrick/Brass following close behind. Never one to do things half-assed, I read fiction for every Tv series I'm into at the moment. Most of the fandoms I read for were already familiar, having watched the TV show for years, yet there are a few I've found through fanfic (NCIS and Criminal Minds) and some I only know through the fanfiction I've read on the net (Supernatural).
It's hard to believe that just 18months ago, I rarely got on the internet unless it was for research or to check email. Now, I spend a lot of time online (maybe too much). I've met wonderful people through fanfiction. They've been a huge support system and I am lost without them. They step in where family can't and they probably understand me a little more than my family. They don't judge or assume, they allow me to be me, and though we fight and snipe on occasion, in the end we are truly one happily dysfunctional family.
